Although we may have another few years until we have our own Lagg Single MAlt whisky, there is plenty to offer at lagg in the meantime.

Machrie Moor Fingal's Cut - Quarter Cask is the first of two heavily peated whiskies produced at our sister Lochranza Distillery but available exclusively at Lagg Distillery.
With an aroma of subtle smoked almonds and hints of summer fruits, the influence of the Quarter Cask is evident on the palate with obvious notes of lemon zest coupled with salted caramel & smooth and creamy butterscotch, resulting from increased contact between spirit and wood.
This expression is bottled at 46% abv allowing for non-chill filtration, a completely natural colour.
Machrie Moor Fingal's Cut - Sherry Cask Finish is the second heavily peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky produced at our sister Lochranza Distillery and available exclusively from Lagg Distillery.
An earthy smoke on the nose, with notes of rich dark chocolate, candied oranges and crème brûlée gives way to a sweet and fruity taste, with soft spices of cinnamon, an influence of the Sherry casks. Slices of dried orange and grapefruit complimented with notes of sticky toffee pudding give a mouth-watering, oily finish which lingers beautifully on the palate. A perfect example of a heavily peated spirit expertly paired with the best quality Olorosso Sherry Cask to create a delightfully memorable dram.
Bottled at a cask strength of 54.4% abv, this expression is non-chill filtered, completely natural colour.

Lagg New Make is a heavily peated spirit drink produced at Lagg Distillery. Bottled at a strength of 63.5% vol. this expression offers a very real look at some of the flavours we can expect from a future Lagg Single Malt Scotch Whisky - only a few years now to wait!
The Sou'Wester, a blended Scotch Whisky available exclusively from Lagg Distillery, is rich, robust and peaty with a high proportion of malt whiskies giving character and complexity. The distinctive Peated Malts in this blend come from the Island of Islay and Arran which are both exposed to the prevailing Sou'wester wind in the seas off the south-west coast of Scotland.
