Lagg Single Malt Inaugural Release: Batch 1
This is the first bottle released as part of Lagg Single Malt's Inaugural Collection, with only 10,000 bottles released worldwide in 2022.
Lagg Single Malt Batch 1 is crafted from 100% Bourbon Barrel maturation for 36 months, using Concerto barley and water from our borehole. Peated to 50PPM with peat from North East Scotland, this whisky delivers a bold and smoky character.
Bottled at 50% ABV, it remains non-chill filtered with no added colouring, preserving its natural depth and complexity. This limited release is restricted to just 10,000 bottles worldwide.
Nose
A hit of earthy peat balanced with the sweetness of vanilla tablet.
Palate
Thick and mouthfilling. Light peat, butterscotch and malted biscuit.
Finish
A very characterful dram, with notes of citrus, heather and bonfire smoke.
